Common questions
Do I need a diagnosis?
No. BirdStory starts from lived Experiences, not a label. You can explore, save and build guides without a formal diagnosis.
How many Experiences do I need to save?
You need 12 saved Experiences on a profile before you can create a Personal Guide, a Supporter Guide or a Quick Read. That’s the minimum BirdStory needs to find connections that hold up, rather than treating one or two Experiences as the whole picture. You can buy Guide Pack first and build up to it, and keep saving Experiences afterwards.
What counts as a guide creation or update?
Creating or updating a Personal or Supporter Guide uses one of your 12 included creations. Quick Reads, manual edits, viewing, sharing and downloads don’t count. Neither do failed builds or corrections. Your allowance is shared across profiles and never expires.
Can someone read a guide without signing up?
Yes. Share a view-only link or a PDF. The reader doesn’t need an account, and you can turn the link off at any time.
